Raleigh is much better than NY. My family lives in NY and I attend NC State now. I enjoy this much better for the majority of your points. Schools are nice here and you always have the option of private schools. The Majority have become year long which is a huge plus. There are tons of colleges in NC. Think IN STATE TUITION! Kids grow up fast. We also have 4 seasons. My favorite.

The Triangle is a great place to live. The schools are at par with New York schools. The weather is great, and the variety of homes in the Raleigh area would satisfy any buyer.

I really can’t say enough about the people there. Very friendly with lots of transplanted New Yorkers and others from the northeast.

From my experiences there (on business) I would recommend that area to anyone. I really don’t have a bad thing to say about it.
