Both of my converter boxes work, but the reception on both televisions breaks up constantly. It’s unwatchable. I cannot place an antenna on the roof. I live in a condo where our homeowner association bylaws prohibits it. What is the solution besides paid cable or satellite service?

I am taking a cruise to Cabo at the end of October and will be conducting outdoor worship services and need to be in an outdoor setting that is simply breathtaking. I need to know where to go and how to get there with a nice sized group (50 – 100)

Hola. That’s a tall order! Especially if you are coming off a cruise ship and only in Cabo for the day.

I’m going to recommend you concentrate on a beach area. Just because we are on a pennisula, and most of our breathtaking views are ocean. The difficult part is finding a beach that is not crazy with drunken tourists, and activities that might distrupt your worship services.

You probably won’t be able to go too far from the cruise ship, so daytrips to Todos Santos, San Jose or La Paz are probably out of the question.

So I’m going to suggest the best beach will be the one on the pacific side of "el arco". Called the Playa Grande. Maybe plan to have the glassbottomed boats take your group out and around the arch for a tour, and then land near the beach and have your worship. Most of the year you can access this beach by way of lover’s beach, walking over to the pacific side (duly known as divorce beach). Another option might be to take vans of worshippers out to Chileno Beach or Santa Maria Beach. These are popular snorkeling beaches, very scenic and little bit more peaceful than Medano beach.

I’d say that you are fine. Especially since it is family, they would all probably be happy to see the baby anyway.

Stone Island is always good. It’s busy on cruise ship day but if you walk a bit down the beach you will have some privacy. Maybe Hacienda Las Moras?? Great place and they do alot of events, http://www.lasmoras.com/. Also Estrella del Mar, www.estrelladelmar.com. Very breathtaking and they do special things for cruise ship people all the time. If either one of those places can accomodate you, I am sure they could handle transportation as well.

We are having an outdoor wedding in early August. The service will be in the evening, but in August, who knows how hot it may still be. My fiancee gets hot very easily and I don’t want him to miserable, but I also want him to look nice for our wedding pictures. I’m afraid if I make him wear the traditional full tux with the vest & jacket, that he’ll have a heat stroke!!! Not how I want to start my marriage!! LOL Any suggestions? Don’t say pick a cooler month, the date is set in stone!
