Signing a false statement is called perjury. If a lawsuit comes in the future, the person who signed the false statement could face monetary and jail time penalties.

I agree, I have been saying this forever. The ridicules amount of money we pay in taxes and the millions Planned Parenthood make in profit. Should certainly go towards birth control!

@Westhill Most people know what they are doing when having sex. Sex ed is not the problem. Ignorance is. Each year, about two percent of women aged 15-44 have an abortion; 47% of them have had at least one previous abortion.
If you have read my other question on here you know I have a bad (rotting) tooth. I think I remember taking my son to this doc. office where it was cheaper to take your children to for health reasons. I am 24yrs old and I need this tooth pulled VERY badly. Will the health dept refer me to a place that could help?
Best to call and ask them for any referrals, however I doubt they will be able to do anything for you. Do you live any universities? The dental clinics are offered extremely cheaper and work with you on payments, since this is how the students intern to become the full charging dentists.

They more than likely will take a blood sample since this is cheaper to do and the Health Department often provides free or low-cost care. However, you may get lucky and have an oral swab taken from inside your cheek. Both methods are effective. The blood draw will only cause a little pinch of pain and then it is over.
They probably will not test for anything else unless you request it. I would request full STD testing if you are concerned about having HIV just to make sure everything else is okay.

We had our water tested at the health department and they said it was safe, but it smells really bad like rotten eggs and it comes out gray. Can we terminate our lease for that? Or make our landlord fix it? We chlorinated the well, but it only fixed the problem for about a week and a half.
You can get a charcoal filter to mount at Sears or someplace like that. They go right under the sink. They are pretty simple to install, and take the smell right out of the water. When the smell starts to come back it is time to change the filter. Lease? No, sorry. That is just well water in some parts of the country.
My daughter (14yo) went tanning without my permission and got burned pretty bad, it’s the law that a parent sign permission for underage children, they fired the employee but should I tell the health department?
You could report it to the health department. But your daughter being 14 knows better, and I would be punishing her in some way so she learns her lesson.
She needs to take responsibility for her actions.

Do pregnancy test 7 days after your missed period.If you do too soon may have wrong result because pregnancy hormone level not yet high enough.

The job was done a year ago. I am not sure if I should send a copy of the contract to the health dept as requested. Who will be responsible for my landscaping if they dig it up? I just got it all redone. The person from the health dept said they are trying to make a case against the contractor, but I’m worried they will just use the information we give to dig up our entire yard.
Yes, unfortunately they have the right to dig it up and see if it’s done correctly according to city/county/state standards. They also have an obligation to cause as little disruption and damage as possible in so doing. Take pictures of how it looks before they start, and again afterwards. If they tear it up without fixing it, use the pictures as evidence and make a formal request (in writing) to the agency for them to put it back how it was.
You should send them a copy of the contract — if it says the contractor is responsible for getting permits, and he didn’t, you are completely covered and it’s all his fault.
